Arco's show career began with conformation fun matches at 4-6 months of age. He was shown 5 timess, won his class, went winners dog and best of breed everytime. He took 4 groups firsts, and one group second. At 6 1/2 months of age Arco entered the real show world-His first AKC Specialty. There were a total of five 6-9 month puppies in the class. Four were handled by male professional handlers; Arco was handled by Diane. (Arco's Owner/Breeder) Arco started out first in line and finished first in his class. What an exciting day! Received many nice compliments from handlers and spectators.
    The most exciting weekend was Lansing shows when Arco was 9 1/2 months old. He won his class (9-12 mo) and went winners dog for 2 points under Judge James White and the next day under Judge John Connolly won his class , went Winners dog for 1 point and Best of Winners. Arco was again handled by Breeder/Owner Diane Binkley.
    Diane put the first 5 points on Arco before Grand Winchell and Arco became aquainted. Grant started showing Arco at the Lansing shows in December of 1999 and went on to finish Arco in March 2000 at the young age of 2 years old. Grant then took Arco to Canada in July 2000 and brought home a Canadian Champion! Watch for Arco in future shows with Grant or Mishka Bennett handling.
